Who We Are?

Sigtryggur R. Eythorsson and Thorbjörg Gudmundsdottir are the founders and majority owners of XCO ltd. The company was founded in 1971 with the main focus was on imports and wholesale distribution of foreign consumer goods. XCO ltd also consults on and imports Icelandic designs but foreign-made products, mostly from China. The consumer goods operation of the company has been sold off. From the founding of the company XCO has been exporting eiderdown and eiderdown is still part of the company.
